Trip out West
By Moore family | July 13, 2009

My apologies for the rather long silence on this blog, and the lack of updates and information about our goat milk soap. You see, it’s been a busy past few weeks for me, and this past week my younger brother and I have been on a delightful visit to my brother and sister-in-law out west here in Colorado! So putting up blog posts hasn’t been my first priority!

This is the first time either Joshua or I have traveled out west this far and we have thoroughly enjoyed the vast grandeur of this western section of our country! The first week of our stay here, my brother and sister-in-law took us on a road trip up through northern Colorado, Wyoming, and Montana, camping out along the way, and taking beautiful hikes, traversing high glacial lakes and alpine meadow terrain. We were priviledged to get our first views of Teton National Park and Yellowstone National Parks. From the magestic, rugged mountain peaks and vast, open, sage-brush covered high plains, to the tiny, delicate, vibrant yellow, red, purple, and brilliant blue alpine wildflowers, I have find every aspect beautiful, and I have an even greater appreciation of the magesty and power of my Creator!

What a beautiful country! I am always amazed at the vast differences of terrain and scenery across the country (and the world). It is all so beautiful in its own way and it makes you marvel at the boundless creativity of our God.
The photography is excellent! Who is the expert photographer?
